The history of EH Williams

Burleydam Garden Centre and Gateacre Garden Centre (situated in South Merseyside) are part of the E.H. Williams group.

Burleydam was founded in 1906. It has been managed for three generations by the Williams family and is currently managed by husband and wife team, Sally and Adrian Cornelissen.

Burleydam has been gradually expanding over the years and several years ago it experienced its biggest change yet. The expansion, which was completed in March 2005 resulted in twice the previous floor space and offers customers more choice than ever before. There are also new features such as the Orchard Café and children’s story garden with regular events and entertainment for the family to enjoy.
