Summer Scented Floristry Demonstration 3.00 - 4.00pm

 

Ian Lloyd hosts another expert demonstation in floral arrangement and will be sharing his ideas for a summer scented flower arrangement.

 

Enjoy afternoon tea or coffee, a delicious sandwich, a jam & cream scone and a complimentary Pimms. Ticket booking £10.00. Tickets available from our information desk at Burleydam Garden Centre.

 

 

Floristry Competition

 

Win a one day course with Ian Lloyd worth over £100 plus £50.00 worth of vouchers to spend at Burleydam Garden Centre. Runners up will each receive £25.00 of vouchers.

 

Use a container of your choice and fresh flowers to create a summer scented flower arrangement suitable for a family Sunday lunch. Plant material must predominate and be secured in a wet oasis base.

 

Entry forms and details can be picked up from the information desk at Burleydam from March. The last chance to pick up an entry form is - Thursday 7th July.

 

Exhibits along with completed entry forms must be delivered here for registation, ready for the show on Wednesday 13th July between 9.00am and 5.00pm, to be judged on Thursday morning by Ian Lloyd, well known international florist, Chelsea Flower Show judge and the leader of our popular in-house floristry events, here at Burleydam Garden Centre.

 

The winner and runner ups will be announced Thursday 29th at 5.00pm and contacted for a photo call and for collection of prizes later that evening. All entries including winning entries can ONLY be removed from the centre from 10am on Sunday 17th July.
